Time Capsule Opens after 25 years!

On 14th January 2020, children at Beaumont Primary School made a time capsule which was to be opened 25 years later. On Tuesday, 14th January 2025 was opened in whole school assembly. Inside the box were 5 metal capsules (in 2000, Beaumont only had five classes) a school book bag, a home school agreement, a prospectus and a tea towel that contained all drawings of the children and staff.

The first capsule to be opened was Class 2. In this capsule contained photos, stamps, news cuttings, sweet and crisp packets, lottery tickets, receipts, a rail card and a cassette with childrens’ voices on.
