Wellbeing Wednesdays - Focus on Shared Reading across classes

Today, we enjoyed choosing and re-reading previously much loved picture books.

We talked about picture books that they remembered fondly. Then the children created a 'Book Blanket' for the reception class and spent some time reading their favourite picture books with the reception children.

A Book Blanket provides simple recommendations on the front of a book, written on a label, created by the pupils.
