Y4 – Tag Rugby

Rugby’s a big hit at Beaumont!

On Tuesday 16th May, supported by The Croydon Sports Partnership and the wonderful weather, Year 4 had a fantastic morning, in the sun, playing Rugby.

In the first session, the children focused on the core skills of Tag Rugby and they built on their previous experience of the game, which they gained over the Winter in Pe.

In the second session, they took part in a mini-competition with a series of intra-class matches. I was very proud of the children’s sportsmanship and the quality of the Rugby on show. We look forward, in the future, to playing other schools and demonstrating our expertise.
